Facility Maintenance Technician – Tempe

CDI Engineering Solutions is currently looking for a Facility Maintenance Technician to join our team; join CDI today.

Job Description:
The successful candidate will perform preventative maintenance on both general Facility and manufacturing equipment in an Industrial Manufacturing Environment.

This position requires the candidate to perform both new and existing repairs on electrical and mechanical sub-systems of this plant; Including the modification of general plumbing systems, primary electrical feeds, HVAC and their sub-systems and some electrical controls within this plant/facility.

General facility maintenance will be required of this position; painting, dry-wall repair, moving office furniture, hanging pictures, and various other commercial office repairs.

Qualifications:
Five to Seven years of maintenance experience in the industrial arena.

Mechanical plumbing system knowledge is mandatory for the successful candidate.

Electrical distribution and controls experience is a requirement of this position.

HVAC sub-systems will be part of the day to day operations of this role.

General construction and facility maintenance of a commercial building is required.

All successful candidates will be required to pass a background and drug screen for this position.

All candidates must have a GED or High School Diploma.

Solid past employment references will be required for the above type of skills for this maintenance position.

All candidates will have face to face interviews for this position, along with possibly testing in the above various trades.

This position will require general physical requirements and handling of light weight materials.

Ability to read blueprints required.
